team 1Anthony L. Ashley, DVM, DABVP

Veterinarian / Co-Owner
Dr. Tony Ashley graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, where he met his wife, Alana. Dr. Ashley became DABVP certified in 2008 by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. In 2016, Dr. Ashley became the co-owner of Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga. Born and raised in nearby Hixson, Tennessee, Dr. Ashley is now our staff veterinarian with the Chattanooga Zoo. Along with his regular work in our clinics, Dr. Ashley also assists in training zoo and exotics residents from UTK and is a guest lecturer for the veterinary technology program at Chattanooga State College for parasitology and zoo medicine. He enjoys spending time with his son, and breeding exotic fish.

Tyler B. Pilkington, DVM

Veterinarian / Co-Owner
Dr. Tyler Pilkington is the co-owner of Animal Clinic of Chattanooga. He is a second generation veterinarian, following in his dad's footsteps and graduating from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Dr Pilkington is passionate about preventative care and building relationships with clients to improve the quality of life of their pets. 2016 was a big year for Dr Pilkington in more ways than one: he tied the knot with long time sweetheart, Ashley, in December. The happy couple have two dogs of their own, Sue (a boy) and Khaleesi (a girl), and enjoy spending every free minute in the woods or on the water.

James M. Craven, DVM

Veterinarian / Founder
Dr. James “Jamie” Craven, Jr. graduated from University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dr. Craven has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than thirty years. In 1993, Dr. Craven founded Animal Clinic East and was the co-owner of Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga for over 23 years and still continues to practice at Animal Clinic East. Today, he and his wife Mary Beth have two adult children of whom they are very proud of. At home, they currently have two well-loved rescue dogs, Zoe and Lola. Dr. Craven enjoys the many overlapping facets of veterinary medicine and his special interest in internal medicine leaves him in constant pursuit of answers to problems presented. He strongly believes in continuing education and personal growth.

Charles M. Myers, DVM

Veterinarian / Founder
Dr. Mickey Myers graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Chattanooga for more than thirty years. Originally moving to Chattanooga to work as an associate doctor at Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga. In 1989, Dr. Myers became the co-owner of Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga and owned the company for 27 years. Dr. Myers still continues to practice at Animal Clinic Downtown. He and his wife, Beth, have two wonderful children and have celebrated their first grandchild. Currently him and his wife have Mary Margaret, the couple’s much-loved terrier, who runs their home life. Dr. Myers and his wife enjoy gardening and often volunteer to maintain or help develop gardens around their church and other non-profits in Chattanooga. Dr. Myer’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the joy of contributing daily to the importance of the human/animal bond.

Molly E. Leonard, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Molly Leonard graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee. Even as a little girl she knew she would grow up to help animals in need and has always believed that compassionate care is vital to veterinary medicine. Dr. Leonard has been with Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga since 2000. Today, Dr. Leonard lives a full and exciting family life in Chattanooga with her husband, two children, her three dogs and three cats.

Jacob Liu, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jacob Liu graduated from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and is originally from Athens, Georgia. He was raised in Georgia with his sister Grace by parents Ming-Yih and Jiin-Yuh Liu. Dr. Liu is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially behavior, nutrition and dermatology. Dr. Liu lives in Chattanooga with his cat, Pica and his dog Greta. He is a  big movie buff and foodie. In his free time he enjoys these pastimes as well as fishing, hiking and professional writing.

Mary Morgan-Kelly, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Mary Morgan graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Morgan was a veterinary technician at Animal Clinic Inc. of Chattanooga when she just 18 years old and worked in every aspect of our clinics before going to veterinary school herself. Today she lives in Chattanooga with her husband, daughter, and a herd of four-legged children. Dr. Morgan cannot remember a time when animals were not a treasured part of her life. Throughout the years she has given a home to many dogs, cats and even fish. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is watching her patients grow up healthy.

Jennifer Dunger, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Dunger graduated from University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2017. She completed her undergrad at New York University, and she is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She has been in Chattanooga, TN since May 2017. Dr. Dunger’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is meeting the pets, and getting a glimpse of the bond between them and their owners. She enjoys the aspects of surgery, and also has an interest in exotics (especially birds). In her spare time, Dr. Dunger likes to spend time with her cockatiel, Daisy. (Daisy loves to whistle and knows the theme songs to Andy Griffith, Addam's Family, as well as a little bit of Star Wars!) Dr. Dunger also likes to read, crochet, and bake.

Joyce Huang, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Joyce Huang graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2017. She was raised in Johns Creek, GA by her parents Ann and Jimmy Huang. She recently moved to Chattanooga, TN in June 2017. Dr. Huang’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the diversity it presents. She is captivated with exotic animals (both domestic and wild), anesthesia, and preventative care. In her free time, she enjoys training her pet rabbit Alice, exploring the Chattanooga area, reading, and knitting.
