What is the price of an exam?
We charge $63.00 for a doctor’s exam with a scheduled appointment. For new clients, we require the exam fee to be taken upfront as a deposit, which will be placed as a credit applied to your final bill.
Does your practice take emergencies?

Yes, at both locations. After our closing time, we recommend sending your pet to R.I.V.E.R (423) 698-4612.

Do your clinics take walk-ins and drop-offs?

Yes, we accept walk-ins and scheduled drop-offs, and we have late open hours for your convenience for pickups.

Do you offer payment plans?

We accept CareCredit—it’s a low-interest monthly financing option that many uses in times of medical crisis. From routine appointments to emergency situations or surgeries, the CareCredit card gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets big and small.

Unlike traditional pet financing or veterinary payment plans, the CareCredit credit card gives you the flexibility to use your card again and again for your pet’s procedures. Click here to learn more about CareCredit.

We also accept ScratchPay. ScratchPay is a third party loan service provider specifically for clients needing veterinary care. Click here to learn more about ScratchPay.

Does your practice see exotic pets?
Yes, we see birds, small mammals, reptiles and small primates (by appointment only).
What should I expect for my pet who is scheduled for surgery?
All surgeries require to drop off between 7 and 8 a.m. the day of surgery.
NO FOOD OR WATER for canine or felines after midnight the night before surgery.
A veterinary technician will go over all options and any questions you might have the day of surgery.
Once your pet’s surgery is completed a technician will call to check in with you about the status of your pet and what time to pick up.
What type of procedures do your hospitals perform?
Besides our routine surgeries, we also do complex surgeries like orthopedic surgeries, endoscopic procedures, chemotherapy and much more.
When can I expect my pet’s lab results?
On select procedures, we have same-day laboratory results, including blood panels, heartworm tests, and stool sample checks.
Does your practice offer health certificates for my pet to travel?
Yes, we offer international and interstate health certificates for pets that travel.

Boarding and Grooming FAQs

Do you offer grooming services?
Yes, we have full grooming services at both locations, including those that need sedation. Available M-F five days a week for both locations. We require a rabies vaccine to be current. We can give the rabies vaccination while your pet is being dropped off for their groom.
Do you offer boarding?

Yes, we offer boarding for all species we see! Require FVRCP/Rabies & Feline Leukemia Vaccine on cats, and DHLPP/Rabies/Bordetella vaccines for dogs, Distemper/Rabies for ferrets. Only our Downtown location can board exotic animals. We can give the appropriate vaccinations your pet needs to board during their stay with us if it is on a weekday, not weekends. We do not have Veterinarians on the weekends.

What do I need to bring when I board my pet?
We want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as they can be during their stay away from home. We recommend bringing their regular food and any daily medication your pet takes. We do feed high-quality food (Purina Pro Plan) in our kennel, specifically made to prevent gastrointestinal upset if you do not bring your own pet’s food.
Can my pets board together?
We allow pets of the same species (at owner’s request) to board in a cage together.
